After years of working in the DC hair industry and simultaneously practicing various holistic healing modalities for my own well-being around the world, I know how closely beauty and wellness are related. So…I’ve found a space to combine two of my biggest passions of hair and self care under one roof to bring you Sense!

Stylist

One of my favorite aspects of doing hair is connecting with you all, my clients. For me it’s an important aspect of the haircut service because the better I “get” you, the better I can serve you. I like encouraging clients to embrace their natural texture while also offering simple tips on how to enhance your look. Sense’s bright, intimate, beautiful space is a great facilitator for this process.

Colorist

I excel at creating color that looks natural— whether it’s the one you were born with or the one that beckons. That’s because I have a knack for really listening to clients and translating that into the perfect formula. After more than 20 years in the business, making you feel more like yourself is still my greatest privilege.

Stylist

For over 10 years, I’ve been fortunate to live, work, and build career-long relationships with my clients in and around DC. It’s the moments from when you first sit in my chair until the time you leave that I treasure the most. It’s in those moments, where you all—my clients—share the goings on of your lives. Sometimes you’re starting a new job or life adventure or about to go on vacation or get married. Whatever it is, I’m committed to helping you feel your best for your next moments.

Stylist + Retexturizing Specialist

I use my thoughtful and measured approach to view all things hair related with a detailed eye. While I am learning traditional cutting and styling techniques in advanced education courses, I do offer an expert blowout or smoothing treatment in the meantime!

After many years and many moves, I've found myself back in DC again! I have spent over 15 years working on different hair textures and types in several US cities, the one thing I love most is the creative process involved in designing something perfectly suited to each client. I'm an artist first and my passion for the hair industry has been a wonderful compliment to my skills.

I have a passion for empowering my clients through transforming their hair. I’ve dedicated my craft to the art of enhancing natural beauty with strategic color placement. I enjoy customizing tailored looks to each individual's style. Throughout my training, I’ve found a love for lived-in color, specializing in creating the perfect blonde. My goal always is to strike the perfect balance between modern and timeless hair.
